What Is Church?

One of the most common questions people ask today is What Is Church?  Sometimes it's a general questions, sometimes a personal question.


Is church a building people worship in?  For a lot of people, church is a brick-and-mortar structure that you go to each week.  But what is church really?




The Apostle Paul gives us a much better, much more personal definition of what church should be:

"Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body." (I Cor. 5:19-20)
