Do you ever feel like you have absolutely no spiritual qualifications or abilities? You know, one of those people who who never be called on to do "spiritual work" of any kind. Someone who doesn't appear to have been touched by God at all, someone without Sebastian's singing abilities, Delwin's tech skills, Adam's ability to get up and give announcements in church without appearing nervous at all. As a matter of fact, the OPPOSITE of that!
Perhaps someone new, or someone who "doesn't know their Bible" (as older Adventists might say). Someone who's best function at church is to warm a pew, maybe drop a couple of bucks in the offering plate. Definitely not someone who would lead a worship service or lead the congregation in prayer! Heck, you might faint if you were even asked!
What if I were to tell you that if you're feeling spiritually bankrupt, spiritually deprived and/or deficient, like nothing more than a spiritual beggar, that you can be blessed by an encounter with God? You are! You are blessed as a result of God's presence coming into your life even in the midst of your spiritual depravity!
When you encounter Jesus, you will be blessed! Healed of mind, body, or spirit by our loving God! He's given His promise that it's true!
