Blessed Are The Fixers

Are you a person who has what sometimes seems like an unquenchable desire to fix things?  You know, someone who is always trying to make things right.

Maybe what you’re trying to fix is in yourself, maybe you’ve failed so badly that you struggle to look at yourself in the mirror.  Your soul cries out to be made right, but you just can’t seem to do it so you try the best you can to make things right for others.

Or maybe it’s not that you’ve failed, but that you have been horribly wronged in life, suffered a terrible injustice.  Maybe you’ve been raped or beaten or belittled.  Whatever the case may be, perhaps you find yourself with an ever present longing for the wrong to be righted.

I have some wonderful news!  The kingdom of God that can transform your past, no matter how terrible, and make the bad, awful things you’ve gone through seem insignificant.  Why?  Because they don’t rule your life, you are a blessed child of the Most High God!  A God who promises to restore your soul and fill you with the goodness of His “rightness.”

When God comes into your life, you will be “fixed” and made as right as you can be!
